Pollitt Signs and Graphics
Traditional hand-lettered and hand-painted signs, including gold leaf and pictorial work, built by hand in our Havre de Grace shop since 1947.
Pollitt has hand-lettered and hand-painted signs since 1947 — long before digital printing existed, and still today for customers who want the character only a brush can give. Our sign painters work in traditional marine-grade enamel and urethane paints, hand-lettering everything from storefront windows to gold leaf transom glass, all fabricated in-house at our Havre de Grace shop. We take on pictorial elements, gilded lettering, and signage for historic properties and special commissions that call for a hand, not a machine. It's a specialty most sign shops dropped decades ago when they switched entirely to digital printing — we never did.
