Pollitt Signs and Graphics
Our in-house permit department prepares and manages every sign permit application, variance request, and municipal approval for your project across Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
Since 1947, Pollitt Signs has built signs across Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania — and for just as long, we've dealt with the permit offices that approve them. Our full-time, in-house permit department researches the sign code for your specific jurisdiction, whether that's Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County, the City of Havre de Grace, or New Castle County, Delaware, and prepares your application from the same drawings our shop uses to build and wire the sign. Because our licensed electricians handle the electrical specs in-house, illuminated sign permits move through review with fewer revision requests. If your sign needs a variance or a hearing before a zoning board, we prepare the case and attend on your behalf.
